Ms. Snodgrass is a social impact consultant who has contributed to and managed global environmental and social impact assessments for oil, gas, mining and power sector projects since 2010. Her areas of expertise include: facilitating stakeholder engagement, helping industry understand and apply the Equator Principles and International Finance Corporation (IFC) Performance Standards for development projects, and helping companies strengthen their corporate social responsibility programs. Environmental and Socioeconomic Impact Assessment (ESHIA)
- Helped develop corporate environmental, social, health impact assessment (ESHIA) guidelines, including stakeholder engagement guidance, for one of the world’s largest national oil companies following the IFC Performance Standards
- Supported and contributed to several ESIA’s for large offshore Angolan projects, including managing the development of an ESIA and public consultation documents for a multi-million dollar offshore exploration program
- Co-managed an Equator Principles gap assessment for a met-coke plant in Colombia
- Reviewed socioeconomic and stakeholder engagement policies and procedures for IFC PS gap assessments / due diligence reviews for various development programs
- Managed the development of a preliminary ESIA for a coal-fired power plant in Uruguay
- Contributed to a socioeconomic impact assessment of a wind energy farm in the U.S.
- Supported development of socioeconomic baseline database for future development of a Gulf Coast ESHIA
